Nocterra Volume 3
by Scott Snyder
While I appreciate the attention of the story shifting back to the core brother/sister duo, the internal monologues are so dense and preachy (you know it’s bad when even *I* think it’s preachy) that I ended up skipping the bulk of the narration in favor of focusing on the action and spoken dialogue. Snyder’s wordiness got the better of him again here, and if that drives you up the wall like me, you’re better off buying something else.
