The Addendum by Melanie Moreland
5.0

I enjoyed this series from the beginning to this last instalment.

Richard can be described as one of the best business executive and family man. If you have read the previous books, you know nothing comes without sacrificing a lot and without emotions and love. A love that grew with each phase in his life, from the moment he met Katy, to the moments they had their first children and everything in between.

While now he is in his retirement ages, there’s still so much that remained unknown to him from his early life.

I loved how in this book we get more of two in one story. The story between a father and his firstborn and the love story of that said child who now is a grown up woman making her own decisions and thriving in life.

So much frustration and anger that I would feel if I were Ashley. But luckily Luc was there for her along the way, and he never left. Neither Richard has.

Melanie has a way with words that touches me in the most beautiful ways. Her stories are always full of reliable characters, flawed ones even and so much emotion and heartwarming scenes.

If you have not read this series yet, I don’t know what are you awaiting.
