It really does feel like this book was a rice cake: I read it but I got no nutrition from it. It's not even junk food, it's just there, a book that I read and that I feel more or less nothing about. It is a book, things happen, I barely remember what they were. I barely remember the characters. I remember being annoyed at some of the women in the story for being too "not like other girls" but that's basically the most emotion I got out of this one. Like I said, it's a rice cake of a book.
