Mating the Huntress by Talia Hibbert
5.0

Mating the Huntress by Talia Hibbert is definitely one that could fulfill all spooky fall romance desires. This novella gave me butterflies in my stomach and made me stay up late to literally devour the whole thing in one sitting.

The novella follows Chastity Adofo who comes from a family of huntresses. So she knows a monster when she sees one and Luke Anthony, who is frequenting her family coffee shop, is definitely a werewolf. The two have very opposite aims though as Chastity is determined to slay her first werwolf and prove to her family that she was born to be a huntress whilst Luke is attempting to brush up on his rusty flirting skills and woo Chastity. It leaves Luke needing to protect his heart in more than one way for sure.

It makes for a funny and rather steamy short novella that is definitely fitting for the season. It's a trademark Talia Hibbert with lots of fun, some good romance and this time a spooky backdrop. Urban fantasy books with a smidge of romance are literally one of my favourite genres and I need Talia Hibbert to write more of these books as it was just exactly what I needed to make me smile and feel good.
