Not the worse book ever, but I was severely let down by how bad it was in comparison to My Lady Jane. The plot did not get interesting until chapter 23 and I didn't laugh until page 318. And even then it was more of an "I'd never thought of that before/I can't believe they actually did that!" instead of an oh so funny. The classic has a special place in my heart and this was just not the retelling I was hoping for.
