The premise of this book is great: a girl attending Beijing’s most elite private high school suddenly develops the ability to turn invisible. Her working class parents are struggling to make ends meet and keep up with rising tuition. So she devises a scheme to monetize her newfound power. The only problem? She can’t control her invisibility.

I liked the MC with her flaws and motivations, and her sidekicks were also solid, fun characters. The pacing was engaging and the stakes kept escalating. Overall a good listen!
