Heat by Holly S. Roberts

ARC received for an honest review

I have read and loved all Ms Roberts' sports books, so reading her new Heat series was a no brainer.

I was not sure what to expect when I started Heat, but I have to say it sure lived up to it's name.

Madison - Mak - is an ex cop turned PI. All she has ever wanted in life has been ripped away from her through injury and her new career has thrown her into the path of those she swore to fight against.

Her life has always been black and white, good and bad. She is now starting to realise that there as so many grey areas in life.

Moon is not exactly what she expects. Meeting him, seeing the man behind the police file throws her world into a spin.

The attraction sizzles between Mak and Moon, leaps off the pages. They are so bad for each other, but oh so right.

But can they overlook all their differences to get their HEA?

Heat has a dark, undercurrent that unexpectedly helps Mak and Moon's love story along the way.

I thoroughly enjoyed Heat, and can't wait for the next in the series.
