The Wicked Aftermath
by Melissa Foster
I am at a loss for words when it comes to The Wicked Aftermath. This story gripped my heart, I felt it deep in my soul. I don’t feel like there are enough words to describe how this story truly made me feel. It was gut wrenching, it was raw, it was emotional, it was tragic, it was sweet, it was pure beauty. I was in tears by the end of the first chapter and they never stopped.
Leah and Tank’s story is so much more than just a romance. It is about love, loss and finding yourself after such great loss. The sense of family and support in this story is amazing. The entire Wicked family and all the Dark Knight family have so much love for not only their members but their entire community and that is something that shows in this story.
Leah and Tank are meant for each other. They found each other when they both needed it most. They understood each other on a level that many would never get. It truly felt that fate brought them together.
Junie and Rosie were absolutely adorable. Those little girls completely stole my heart. They were sweet, they were beautiful. They experienced a tragic loss, too but they added so much lightness and hope to the story. The bonds the formed with the entire Wicked family….those girls had everyone wrapped around their little fingers.
The Wicked Aftermath is a book that I will never forget. It touched me on a personal level and reading it felt therapeutic in a way. This is one you just need to read for yourself.
