vicki_williams 's review for:
Joker
by Aiden Bates, Ali Lyda
4.5 stars.
This has to be my favourite of the series so far.
Joker is such a complex, layered character and Brennan has to work hard at forging a relationship with him.
Joker can lash out and be abrasive but that hides his caring nature and how big hearted he his. Fortunately Brennan can be patient and doesn’t give up in Joker and we learn the reasons behind him keeping his emotional walls high. The chemistry between them is explosive and hits high heat when ignited but there’s also small, tender meaningful moments leading to their HEA.
There’s so many feels in this book and I admit to a tear or two. The family of bikers also once again come to the fore in supporting their brother when secrets are revealed.
