This memoir was difficult to read at times and I admire Tara Westover for being brave enough to publish her experiences. Her story is impactful and has the potential to inspire so many to either cut ties or create boundaries with dysfunctional family members. Her honesty and humility were evident throughout the story and she makes you feel like a friend.
