She’s Not Sorry by Mary Kubica (Out 4.2.24) #partner @parkrow
I absolutely devoured this book. What seemed like a cut and dry plot, turned into something else. Kubica tells the story of Meghan, an ICU nurse, who lives in Chicago. When a woman who has brought in, we deep dive into a twisty, layered plot.
Piece by piece it comes together and it was well done. Meghan drove me nuts when it came to Nat, but the reasoning she acts as she does is explained well enough that I could buy in. The ending was on point as well, which is is always a worry for me with thriller/suspense books. Like please don’t steer this ship into the iceberg. Kubica does the opposite. She ended this in a way that made me satisfied.
Highly recommend!
Have you been to Chicago before? I’ve been w the husband twice & took my mom a couple years ago!
