This story follows Flora who is a new Mum. She loves her baby but she feels lonely with her husband away and weird things start happening. It's thought this was a great exploration into the tricks our minds can play on us when we're under certain pressures and strains. On top of that I had no idea what's true and what's not, is there a paranormal element? Can the mysteries be figured out? Can relationships be repaired and will everyone survive? For a relatively short book it packs a punch and keeps you hanging on until the very last page.
