I would have liked this book more if I was spoiled for the end ahead of time, so my review is chock full of spoilers.

The first sentence of the book, the narration by Junior, is actually the first thought that the Westworld-robot-version of Junior has. You spent the majority of the book thinking that he is being studied so that this company can build a replacement robot version of him while he goes into outer space for a few years, but they are actually studying him to see if they did a decent job making a sentient robot. And they did. It's all very eerie and interesting.

I like the beetles throughout, and the way that the humans reacted vs the way the robots did. I still fucking hate robots, but I was a tiny smidgen sad when they shut down the Junior robot. I love love loved that Henrietta skedaddled and left a robot in her place.
