Chase
by K.R. Dwyer
Well, what can I say about 'Chase'? I have only recently gotten into Dean koontz, and well, have fallen in love with his style of writing.
This book is about a 24 year old war hero with a traumatised war experience and is allowed honourable discharge. After being awarded the medal of honour by the president, Chase decides to take a drive to the local lovers spot where he once sat with a young girl. But when a lovers night gone wrong occurs he decides to step in and take action.
I loved the plot of this book, and how the suspense was laid out. My only flaw with this book is how the ending felt a bit rushed, after spending a good few chapters building up to the big scene it just seemed to quick and an easy way out. Apart from that it's a brilliant book and deserves to be read by anyone who loves crime/thriller books.
