TBH I didn't really care much for the characters and I kind of wish there was a bit more focus on the cursed gun and its overall history of violence. I thought the time-travel/alternate dimension aspect was a little messy and abrupt at times. I think this is one of those books that I think would benefit from a visual adaptation because there are a bunch of moving parts to the story while also having room for expansion.
