librarianlayla 's review for:
Breakup Boot Camp
by Beth Merlin
I was sent an eARC of this from the publishers in exchange for an honest review.
This is certainly not the kind of book I would usually reach for however if you are a lover of any sort of romance 'chicklit' esque book, this may very well appeal to you. It is a journey of re-discovery and the steps that one must sometimes take to move on.
I found the latter quarter of the book much more interesting than the firs three quarters as it showed a lot more depth to the characters, especially the main character Jo. There are a few humorous moments as well to detract from the emotional undercurrent of the story.
