I actually don't really know if I liked this book or not? I liked the writing and the pacing but the storyline itself? I dunno.

Cole was an iffy MC for me, since he is truly not a good, or even morally grey, guy and Mara was.... unfinished? That's not exactly how I wanted to word that but it's what comes to mind when I think of her. She has obviously experienced trauma and is strong willed but to almost completely get over being kidnapped, tortured, and almost murdered? Hmm, she is definitely more brave than I am. Brave or reckless.
