This book was so cute!! Several months ago I attempted to read this and failed miserably. First of all, I’m just not that into contemporary novels. Give me fantasy all day everyday. But everyone was raving about this book so much that I wanted to give it a try and for some reason, I just COULD NOT get into the story or the audiobook. There’s something about this narrator that bugs me, but I don’t really have a specific reason why. Something about the way she read it made it feel extra juvenile to me, so I ended up DNFing.



PLEASE DO NOT PANIC. I felt so guilty that I decided to give it another try. And I also maaaaaay have caved under the duress of a friend… but I’m super glad I did!! This book was SO ADORABLE and I ended up falling in love with Lara Jean and Peter K just like everyone else. Everything is just so cute. The characters, the story, the friendships, all of it. Sometimes you need some good contemporary fluff to put you in a good mood and this totally did the trick.

And that ending kind of killed me?? Talk about a cliffy. Thank god I’m reading these late because if I had to wait for book two to come out I would have gone nutters.

Such a sweet contemporary romance!! It’s fluffy and pink just like Lara Jean and Peter K can bring me cinnamon donuts any time.

Nope. I can't do it. Gave this audiobook a half hour and I just do not care. The voice of the protagonist is way too annoying for me.
