You Know Me Well by David Levithan, Nina LaCour
2.0

This was a light hearted story about friendship following two LGBT teens who meet and are just coming of age. Mark is dealing with his best friend, Ryan getting into a relationship with a boy who isn't him. Kate is afraid to meet Violet, her friend Lehna's cousin. This is all happening throughout pride week. To be honest, I felt like this was going to be similar to Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist when it started up since they are downtown trying to find Violet. It was super slow for me, and I had to pick up the audio or I wouldn't have finished (I had to finish this book for the YA Booktube Awards since I am judging this genre, if not I would've DNFed it). I've actually listened to David Levithan's previous co-written books on Audio (Naomi & Ely and Nick and Norah). Overall, it was cute and had great LGBTQIA+ representation, this is also an own voices book. But, I wished I enjoyed it more than I hoped to.
