One of the most prolific books I read as a young adult. I have to say that for every novel Walter Dean Myers has ever written. The man's prose style is just so amazing. I don't know many young African American students who have read any of his work, but I definitely recommend him. It's always great to read the works of African American male authors who want to depict the truth of African American and teenage life. I truly believe Myers is effective at the task.
