I enjoyed Oona Out of Order. I love time travel stories, and I really enjoyed the premise of this one. Because of how the story was written I didn’t feel I could connect with any of the characters for a lot of the book. Oona spent a great deal of time pissing me off. I know what she was going through was traumatic... but I just struggled with her as a person. All the wasted time she spent self medicating the pain away or longing for the year before. I KNOW that is the whole idea behind the story... but it still drove me mad. Each new jump she is apprehensive and anxious. She spends so much time missing the days/year before and misses out on the “now”.

I liked the story. I actually originally rated it 3⭐️. But the more I thought about it the more I realized the book made me feel exactly as it should. The writing alone boosted the rating.
