This is a cute story about forest friends connecting through books. One thing that concerns me about its appropriateness for young readers is the smattering of complex words throughout. I think these words could cause some confusion and maybe frustration with young readers. I do really enjoy the illustrations and the fact that it is centered around borrowing books from the library!
