Vignettes into domestic life and parenthood. Beautifully written and interesting use of first/third person. For most of the book the narrator refers to herself as “I” and her husband as “you”. Until he cheats on her with a younger women. For a while the narrator becomes “the wife” and he’s “the husband”. At the end it switches back to “I” and “you” when the wife seems to forgive him and the family settles back into normalcy.
Audiobook was done by the author and she did a great job narrating, but there were some weird times where there seemed to be an issue in the editing or audio quality.
