Sometimes you finish a book and you just want to hold it close to your heart and thank the universe for allowing you to encounter it when you did.

This book gave me that experience.

Don't let the small chapters trick you, they pack to punch. I cried. I processed. I was shown moments where I was able to see myself. I saw moments where I was granted the gift of seeing into experiences I have never experienced.

I grew up toxically religious and although I am not religious anymore. The connections and critiques of religion in this book really hit home for me.

UGH so many beautiful things. I learned so much. I need to read this again. I definitely recommend the audiobook for this one. UGh I may have to go start it right now. SO good!
