I am rather a mood-based reader and I usually have a bunch of books I am reading at the same time, so it was occasionally hard to find the right kind of mood or momentum to read this book, but overall it was a good read. 
I would say that Broken Play by Riley Page is ideal for anyone who enjoys emotionally charged second-chance romances where unresolved tension and personal growth intertwine with the high-stakes world of sports, having complex characters navigating love and ambition.
