nila 's review for:
The Goldfinch
by Donna Tartt
3.5 stars, maybe? I haven't made up my mind
This book contains some sections of amazing writing in the midst of long-ass streams of consciousness. Great characters, from heavily flawed to purely good, you really feel for them. The last few parts were really engaging and that really saved my feelings on the book. Though, be prepared for what feels like never-ending art analysis and 27 endings รก la Return of the King
Triggers: heavy/graphic (?) descriptions of drug abuse and alcoholism, domestic violence.
