Reading about Aza stressing out kinda stressed me out.
Aza has very serious anxiety and OCD which makes mine look like rainbows and kittens in comparison. It was actually anxiety inducing reading about her anxiety at times because it was so extreme. It goes to show that there are people out there who have it way worse that you.
Overall it was a good book, still not amazing. I give John Green props for writing a book with a character like this because it could have been a disaster. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who thought Aza was ridiculous but hopefully it opened the eyes of even more to what anxiety can be like for people.
