Right Man, Right Time by Meghan Quinn
5.0

Yet another laugh out loud read by Meghan Quinn with such heartfelt moments and a big side of serious spice! This book features sports romance, fake dating, age gap and found family tropes. Silas and Ollie were seriously made for each other. It was such a change meeting, but one that was meant to be. They deifnitely lust after eahc other at first, but they ignore this want and instead make an arrangement for fake dating that will both benefit them. One of the best parts of this was that Ollie didn't know who Silas was, despite being a professional hockey player. It made this book better and more genuine, like Ollie was really in it for the right reasons. The banter between these two was superb. Even the banter between Silas and his teammates had me in tears with how funny it was. Ollie is such a strong woman who I admire because she just says and does what she wants and that's what makes me like her so much. Silas is a broken man, after his trust is completely broken by someone he loved so deeply, and because of this, it takes him awhile to open up. But his self awareness about everything made him such a lovable character from the beginning. This is not only a romantic comedy, but a story about learning that not everyone will hurt you, it’s okay to trust people and let them in and to leanr to love again because you just might meet the love of your life in the most unexpected way. How important it is to open up about what’s hurting you and remembering to hear someone out when something happens.
