A fun YA read, Hunger Games meets X-men. Not as good as the former, but enjoyable nonetheless. Not particularly unique but don't let negative reviews put you off if you generally like YA fantasy, it's a solid enough example of the genre and not every series needs to be groundbreaking to be worth reading.
