Sue Monk Kidd writes so well about relationships between people and the longings that people have inside themselves. I also really enjoy historical fiction and this book did not disappoint. I cannot wait to discuss this with my book club! What a beautiful tale woven between facts and fiction of what might have been. I had read of the Grimke sisters before, and now I need to research their lives a bit deeper.
