📖 This is my second Lauren Rowe book and I really enjoyed this one! C-Bomb, or Caleb, is a drummer for a big band and after a stint in rehab takes some time to meet his little toddler daughter after her mom passes away. Caleb hadn’t previously been part of her life, but now wants more than anything to be there. His daughter’s temporary guardian was the mom’s best friend, Aubrey, and sparks instantly fly between them. But Aubrey agrees to be Caleb’s short term sobriety coach and they agree to “co-parent” the little cutie together until the custody hearing and are in agreement that they must keep her safe from outside dangers. Watching them try to keep their hands off each other was fun, and when they eventually broke it was HOT! Caleb was adorable with his little girl, and Aubrey was so protective of them both. This was sweet and they both communicated so well with each other! Seeing a big tatted up rocker be so cute with his girls just made me melt.

🎧 This audio was amazing!! Sean Masters is at the top of my fav male narrators list since I first heard him last year and he keeps slaying every book! He really crushed this one as a rocker turned softie dad and complete simp for his lady. His deep, gravely voice was perfect for this role. Andi always amazes me with her work. She puts so much emotion and shows such a range even in a duet performance! She is such a talent and a joy to listen to. Bravo!
