A Favor for a Favor is the second book in the All In series by Helena Hunting. This could be read as a standalone but is more fun in series order and even more fun if you’ve first read the Pucked series. Bishop is looking to keep his head down and focus on being the best player he can be for the new Seattle NHL expansion team. That is until he *thinks* he catches his new team captain’s mistress moving in next door. His new neighbor is actually RJ’s sister coming to stay in his never used team-supplied penthouse to lick her wounds after walking in on her now ex-boyfriend cheating on her. Needless to say the neighbors start off on the wrong foot. Bishop is grumpy, and brooding and trying his best to get a rise out of Stevie, until he sustains a terrible on ice injury and agrees to Stevie’s help. He needs to recover as quickly as possible and she needs sports therapy experience with a real professional athlete, did I mention she’s a physiotherapist? The sparks fly and their chemistry cannot be denied once they actually get to know one another.
This is my favorite Helena Hunting book and I love SO many of them! Shippy is one of my very favorite book boyfriends! I love the banter he and Stevie share.
I love the audiobook and have listened to this book several times. Erin Mallon and Jacob Morgan give the extraordinary performances Hunting’s scorching work deserves!
