Even if it wasn't the most beautifully or artfully written book, the story certainly pulled me in and kept me wanting to come back for more. Gotta love a good ghost story.

If you really want the plot to get to you - read it at night with the lights out. It's a deliciously spooky read.

Also, this would make a fantastic movie.
