This book felt reminiscent of the dystopian books I was obsessed with in middle school. I would have loved to read this one back then. I also liked how over the course of the book, I could tell the author was gaining more confidence in her writing because the style really solidified. I hope there is a sequel because it definitely has great potential for one.
