I really don't have much to say about this book, except that it solidified the fact that I really, really prefer third person over first person narration, and that short stories may not be for me, at least not when they don't converge with each other in any way.

This isn't to say that it was horrible! I'm giving it 3 stars because it definitely had some stand-outs that I really enjoyed reading ("Oomph", "The DODL" and "259 Million Miles" were especially fun, and I wish we had more of them). Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to keep me from feeling like I was forcing myself to get through this book most of the time, which isn't the best feeling 😅

I am glad I stuck with it in the end, as I definitely enjoyed the later stories more than the first few ones! So yeah, not the best, not the worst, in my opinion!
