Hacked

For all his adorkable geekiness combined with anxiety issues, Kev also has an inner strength and a spine of steel. Jasper (Hux) has the geek factor plus the ex marine factor but also some insecurities to overcome. Put these two enemies together working intelligence and the snark flies! It takes them a while to not only acknowledge to themselves that there’s chemistry sizzling between them but to act upon it. When they do there’s some heat balanced nicely with sweet and tender moments.
The overall Horn of Glory story arc is as complicated and messy as per usual and full of puns that kept me amused. It’s finally resolved and I enjoyed how this element of the story neatly slotted in with the romance element which kept things interesting.
I loved Kev and Jasper’s story with it’s dash of angst, dash of drama, swoon with a bit of steam and two fantastic characters getting their own HEA. It’s a wonderful conclusion to the series.
