Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol
4.0

This was a really entertaining GN. Anya's Ghost doesn't just focus on paranormal, but delves into fitting in during High School, made harder by Anya's Russian heritage. It started off cute with Anya finding a ghost down a well and becoming friends, but the turn it took I didn't expect. Then it became down right creepy. I also loved the artwork. The characters were each unique in their own looks, which was nice as some artists have the more minor characters all look the same. Vera actually took the time to differentiate people as they should be, even if they were minor changes in eyes, nose, etc. Anyone looking for an interesting paranormal GN should check this one out. 4 out of 5.
