It's been many years since I've read the original series, I don't know if it's that I'm older, but this is so angsty. Also Edwards obsession seems creepier and even more inappropriate. But I think what irritated me most was the way Bella is written as so unusual and perfect in every way, perhaps it's justified in that is Edwards perspective but mostly it read as fanfiction from someone who adores Bella. The redeeming feature and reason I persisted is that I loved seeing into the minds of the rest of the Cullens.
