I like this series because of its world building and the well rounded, quirky, and likeable characters.
This is an excellent addition to the series and it features a solid mystery full of twists and turns, and a lot of the development to the world building and the witches' lore.
I was happy to meet again the great cast of characters and read about the developments in their life and was hooked by the mystery that kept me guessing.
Even if it can be read as a stand alone I think it's better to read the previous books in order to get a fully understanding of the story.
I strongly recommend it.
