3.5 stars. I was not nearly as invested in this "medical mystery journey" that was laid out before me as maybe I should have been. After a couple chapters I basically correctly guessed what the issue was... not the SPECIFIC issue, but the general term for the issue itself. It was interesting enough but nothing that could not bean hour episode on some medical TV show in my opinion. It would really be awful to have something like this happening to you and have NO idea what it is, what's causing it, or if it will ever go away. So I definitely feel for Susannah and what she went through as a human. I just wanted a better story that I could get invested in easier.
