This was my first Ellen Hopkins novel and her most recent release. I really enjoyed the writing style and her writing. This was a little slow for me until a little less than halfway through so I am giving it 3.5 stars.

Do not read the description of this book on Goodreads before you read it. It will spoil you! This is the other reason why I had to give it 3.5 stars. It wasn't as shocking when the twist came, because I had already known from reading the description.

If you haven't checked out Hopkins yet I recommend starting out with a novel that is shorter to get a taste of her writing before reading this.
