Well this was pretty good despite the oversexulized teens left and right.

So got our main character Maka and her friend here, who is basically a weapon, that needs to devour souls. Quick into the series we are introduced to two more characters who actually each get their own chapter. Then we are thrown into the main storyline and learn about our heroes and who they are and what their mission is while also seeing how they all come together. It's a interesting way to do it that makes it way different than most animes/manga.

I really enjoyed the humor as it could be really funny. The fights and designs were all unique and pretty fun. I also liked the pacing, quick, and never boring. The main characters and supporting cast all seem interesting too. The fan service is over the top and too much at points. Have characters naked a lot (all women) and then have Maka, the main female character, getting her panties shown multiple times. She's like 13 or 14. It's weird.

Overall, besides the odd amount of sexual moments it was a lot of fun. I think I'll be checking out volume 2 down the line. A 3.5-4 out of 5.
