My first Adichie novel, and her first! A very good, tough read. I liked the writing here. It's straightforward and simple, in the best way, while effectively relaying super heavy, emotional content.
I think I was expecting a little something more from it. What exactly I can't put my finger on! Maybe the scenarios felt a little repetitive at times, but then again, given the subject matter...that's how those things sadly go! Ultimately, the key relationships in the book are not scenarios that I typically enjoy reading about.

Graphic: Domestic abuse, Miscarriage, Violence, Death of parent
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship
