allonsythornraxx 's review for:
The Princess Diarist
by Carrie Fisher
I don't really know how I feel book this book. I listened to this as an audiobook, which I think is definitely the way to go with any memoir.
I think, maybe I had hyped this novel up too much between the short 1-2 weeks of hearing about it and then picking it up. This novel is basically Fisher talking about the fist Star Wars movie (the prequels are not real, fight me) and Carrison.
You've got to give it to Fisher, she's already written 2 other memoirs and somehow she still managed to write another 240 pages. For me, the main thing that saved this novel is Fisher's wit and her diary entries. Her writing was amazing, and if acting had not worked out so well for her she definitely could have looked into songwriting.
