what I liked: the Scooby-Doo premise, Tim the dog, Dunia

what I didn't like:

a contrived w/w romance clearly written by a man,

a manic pixie dream girl, treatment of mental illness that seems thoughtful on the surface but really just feels flippant, continued reference to adults as "girls" and "boys," anthropomorphized hair.

what I'm undecided on: shifts between narrative format and movie script -- maybe this would work better for me if I hadn't listened to it.
