Super cute premise! I love the banter between Aiden and Lucie and all of the character relations in this story. Grew to really love these characters and I thought Aiden and Lucie had touching character growth. For all of my fellow hopeless romantics, this one’s a great read.

Graphic: Sexual content
Minor: Terminal illness
There are a couple chapters where the sexual tension escalates, but it’s in Chapter 27 where Aiden and Lucie have a very *fun* night 😉
Terminal illness warning: A huge element of the story is that a big reason for Aiden’s personality and distancing tactics is because his mother was diagnosed with cancer three times within ten years, the first time being when he was 8. He talks about how this affected him and some specific moments of his mom during her struggling moments with the illness. However, she survived all three bouts of cancer.
