This was such an amazing story! It follows a woman in the National Guard who is deployed to Iraq, leaving behind her family and a marriage that is falling apart. Hannah covers everything from the war and loss and PTSD, to the families who are left behind and have to readjust their lives, to friendships and family in all its many forms. This is a heart-wrenching story, as Hannah's always are, and takes a good look at how war and the life of one person can affect so many others. I cannot recommend this enough.
