This book was so odd. But in a good way I suppose... It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting when I first started reading it but in the end it ended up being pretty good. I definitely did not see the ending coming that was for sure and that’s the mark of a good mystery for me!
I thought the book might revolve more around the actual murders in the story which it didn’t and I will admit was slightly disappointing. So if you’re looking for a wild hunt while 8 perfect murders are being committed you’re looking in the wrong place. This is more of a confession as to what caused the murders to occur and then a recount of everything that led up to it and happened after most had been committed.
Still it was a solid read, definitely a quick one, and it’s pretty easy to follow.
