The Cleaners
by Ken Liu
interesting story about a cleaner that cleans memories from objects in a world where most people can feel the residue of feeling a or memories on things others have touched.
the entire idea is fascinating to me and i wish i could have gotten a more in-depth story about this.
but as far as this story goes, it was good. but i wish it would have focused more kn the cleaner and maybe one other person instead of splitting the story into three perspectives.
it did give a nice overview of the different “levels” of how people are able to feel those memories, so understand why the story was done that way, but i just wish it would have focused on the title person.
all in all very interesting and different.
very well written!
