Tell Me a Lie by Brianna Flores
3.0

"He’s danger, but also safety.'

Goddamn this book.
I just wanted to reach in and give Sage the biggest hug.
Sage & Lucas are explosive together.

Chapter 1..are you kidding me? Phew!
This book was impulse read for me and I am glad that I read this or should I say flew through this.
There was a lot going on in this book but the way it unfolded made the impact that much more to me.
The emotions in this book took a toll simply because of the subject matter within. Sage puts up a front of being strong but in reality he is terrified and feels unworthy of anything because of the people who are supposed to love him no matter what. Surprise, they don't.
Lucas became that tether to let Sage be who he truly was with the exception of lying to him about one thing, the only thing he asked him for that he has never gotten before. Which was heartbreaking.

Now this book is on another level with the spice, oh man was it so yummy in all the ways!
Lucas is so damn good with the praise
A bit of Somno ;)
You're mines thrown in the mix
A touch of jealousy
Possessive of what is theirs
Alll the emotions
IT. WAS. JUST. FULL. OF. IT. ALL

There is a warning at the beginning that should be read before jumping into this book, it will give a better understanding to why while reading.
Another good one from Brianna
